Join the Supporters of Tiritiri Matangi and the Amateur Astronomers for a special evening of wildlife watching and star gazing on Tiritiri Matangi. There may be a chance to spot a kiwi, little blue penguin or even a tuatara, as well as having the night sky interpreted by astronomy enthusiasts and their telescopes.

This event was booked out in days of being advertised last year, so don't delay in securing a place.

TIME
Departs Auckland 5.00pm and returns 11.15pm
Departs Gulf Harbour 5.50pm and returns 10.30pm

TICKETS
$66 per Adult & $29 per child (ex Auckland & Gulf Harbour), plus $5 compulsory fee for the guided tour.

WHAT TO BRING

  • Wear warm clothes, sturdy footwear.
  • essential to bring a torch each (no strong spotlights).
  • Plenty of food and water. Complimentary tea and coffee available on the island (and chocolate available in the wonderful little gift shop).
